Privacy policy
Who we are
Scale Marketing is a business development practice operated by Jennifer Chamberlaine in Dublin, Ireland. For anything in this policy, contact hello@scalemarketing.ie.
What we collect
This website stores nothing itself. The contact links open a pre-filled email in your own mail app; nothing is sent or saved until you choose to send it. If you do, we receive what you send: typically your name, firm, email address and message, and, if you're starting a read of your book, the client export you choose to attach.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry and to deliver the work you've asked for. A client export sent for a read of your book or The Whole Book is used only for that piece of work. Business contacts in it may be checked against public records and licensed business databases; private individuals are never enriched through a third party. We never sell or share your details with third parties for their marketing.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or relationship, then deleted. Prospect data with no engagement is deleted twelve months after the last contact. Client exports are deleted once the piece is delivered, unless you ask us to keep them for the next piece.
Third parties
Booking a call opens a Google Calendar booking page, and our profiles link to LinkedIn. Those services have their own privacy policies that apply when you use them. If you allow it, Google Analytics counts page visits on this site; see the cookie policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask at any time to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@scalemarketing.ie. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Cookie policy
This site sets cookies only with your say-so. When you first visit, a small bar asks whether we may count page visits with Google Analytics.
If you allow it, Google Analytics sets its cookies and we see which pages are read and roughly how people arrive. If you decline, nothing is set. Either way, your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so you aren't asked again, and you can change it by clearing that storage.
Fonts and images are served from this site. Nothing is embedded from a third party. If you follow a link to Google Calendar or LinkedIn, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy.
If any of this changes, this page will be updated with the date, and you'll be asked again before anything new is set.
